As my time as the blog writing intern here at Golden Arm Media is coming to a close, I can’t help but reflect on all of the many lessons I’ve learned during my short time here.
So, for my final post I thought I would share the top 3 lessons I’ve learned from my experience as a Golden Arm Media intern.
- Online Storytelling is the most powerful tool to create brand awareness. Telling stories is the best way for businesses to connect with an audience at a deeper level. Humans love communicating through story and once you have established that sense of trust with your target audience, their relationship to your brand becomes more long-term.
- Look at the big picture when marketing your message. You have to approach this concept from all angles. What I mean by this is that a message that resonates with one consumer may not resonate with another. You have to really think about what the message you’re sending people really means and what you would like for them to get out of it. Once you figure out what you want people to know about your brand, you then can decide how to frame your message to reach the most people.
- Trust the people the people around you. We call ourselves a GAMily here at Golden Arm Media which is fitting because it is a family business but also in part because of how well everyone on our team works together. It’s hard to run a business on your own, and having supportive people in your work environment makes the job a lot easier.
