Have You Created Crazy Cool Stuff in Canva Yet?

I can’t tell you how many times we needed a quick graphic for something. Whether it’s a promo for an upcoming event, an infographic, or simply an inspirational quote, every small business needs access to some kind of graphics software for both digital and print needs. Simple text just doesn’t cut it anymore. Enter: Canva.

It was my lifesaver when I primarily worked on a Chromebook and could only use cloud-based software. Now that I have a MacBook Pro, sometimes I don’t want to mess with all the bells and whistles of PhotoShop, and other times Pablo is too simplistic to satisfy my design bug.

Not to mention, Canva has an awesome library of both free and licensed images. Plus, with the upload feature, you can use it to create just about anything (see crazy blog image above).

This is PERFECT for creating branded content. Once you have a style guide in place for your company’s media, you can use Canva to create social media posts, posters, web design elements, and pretty much any visual asset you would ever need with your logo on it. They even have the correct sizes and proportions for posting on various platforms, so you’ll never have part of your picture chopped off!

Another great thing Canva offers is its Design School. Personally, I have yet to dive in, but it’s reassuring to know that they have your back and encourage you to learn how to make your creations both aesthetic and effective.

Better yet, Canva For Work is coming! Check it out here to get early access when it’s released!

Here is a sampling of some things I’ve created over time with Canva. What will you create?

BONUS: Use Canva to create custom video thumbnails, or to tease traffic to watch videos on your site.
